We want you involved. We're always looking for passionate people to come learn what we're all about - as volunteers, consultants and students (of any age!).

Right now in our life cycle, the most helpful thing you can do for us, is give. If you're able to give financially, consider a tax-deductible donation. It would sincerely help us out. A lot.

If you're not able to donate, but still want to contribute, we're always looking for volunteers. If no specific volunteer days are outlined below (or if you're unable to make the set date) we still want to work with you. Reach out to us directly to set up a time and activity that works for you.

Upcoming Volunteer Days

We are excited to open our greenhouse to volunteers the first Tuesday of each month from 5:00pm - 7:00pm. If you are interested in volunteering, please give us at least 24 hours advanced notice by emailing us at celinefreedomgardens@gmail.com. We request you commit to a minimum of 45 minutes with us if coming to volunteer, though you are welcome (and encouraged!) to stay the full two hours.

Paver stone painting: March 1st, 2022

We'll provide stencils, paint, paintbrushes! Come leave your mark on the greenhouse and help decorate our space!

Bedding plant propagation: March 8th, 2022

Learn how to propagate bedding plants, grow from bulbs, and take home a flower for spring! We'll have canna lillies, dahlias, petunias, marigolds and more!

Microgreens: March 15th, 2022

Learn about what microgreens are, how to harvest, and plant your own tray of microgreens.

Seed starting: March 29th, 2022

Join us for a discussion about seed starting times, tips for extending your growing season with or without a greenhouse, and help plant starts for the Frenchtown classroom projects.

Composting at home: April 5th, 2022

See several compost demonstrations, learn about the benefits and applications of compost in your home garden, and take home some compost starter!

Aquaponics and Hydroponics: April 19th, 2022

Come tour our aqauponics and hyrdoponics systems, learn about growing techniques and make your own windowsill Kratky hydroponics system!
